It was a cloudy, cool and damp day across much of central and
eastern Kansas. The rain was most prevalent across south central
and eastern Kansas with isolated thunderstorms. Late afternoon
temperatures ranged from the lower 50s across central Kansas to
the lower 60s in eastern Kansas.

Low pressure responsible for the cloudy and wet weather will move
southeastward tonight and into southeast Oklahoma and Arkansas by
Saturday morning. Meanwhile, a cold front will move southward
across Nebraska and Iowa on Saturday. Lingering showers will end
across eastern Kansas later tonight with areas of frost and
freezing temperatures expected across parts of central Nebraska
and central and western Kansas. Chances for showers and a few
thunderstorms will continue further east across Iowa, much of
Missouri, eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas tonight and 
into a portion of Saturday before ending later in the day.

Low temperatures tonight will fall into the 30s and 40s with highs
on Saturday in the 60s and 70s.
